Key Responsibilities
- 100% Inspection & Auditing: Conduct comprehensive checks on finished garments for surface defects, loose threads, spots, and stains. [1, 2]
- Measurement & Fit Checks: Compare garment dimensions against approved tech packs and size sets to ensure accurate grading. [1, 2]
- Trims & Packaging Verification: Ensure proper placement of hangtags, labels, barcodes, and correct folding/poly-bagging prior to boxing. [1, 2]
- AQL Testing: Perform final random inspections using statistical sampling (e.g., AQL 1.5 or 2.5) to determine if a shipment is accepted or rejected. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Reporting & Rework: Generate daily inspection reports, document defects, and route faulty goods to the alteration or repair department. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Requirements and Skills
- Experience: Typically requires 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in textile manufacturing or apparel quality control.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric properties, garment construction, and measuring tools.
- Attention to Detail: High visual acuity to detect minor color variations, shade bands, and fabric faults.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
