- Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify electrical malfunctions in machinery (e.g., motors, transformers, and switch panels) using testing devices like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and ammeters.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent unexpected downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- System Installation: Assemble, install, and wire new electrical equipment, panels, conduit, and lighting systems.
- Compliance: Ensure all repairs and installations strictly adhere to national and local electrical codes (such as NEC/NFPA standards) and health/safety regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment conditions.
- Responsible for inspecting, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a facility's electrical systems.
