Supply Chain Head – Energy & Defense (12+ Years Experience)
A results-driven Supply Chain Head with over 12 years of extensive experience in managing complex supply chain operations within the Energy and Defense sectors. Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, logistics optimization, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. Demonstrates strong leadership in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation in high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution for energy and defense projects.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business and project objectives.
- Manage and evaluate domestic and international vendor relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, defense procurement policies, and industry standards.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiation, contract management, and process improvements.
- Oversee inventory planning and demand forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid disruptions.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, supplier, and logistical risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
