Job Profile-
The Child care provider cum Creche supervisor will be responsible for the efficient running of the crèche on a day to day basis. She will provide a safe, stimulating and child centered environment to ensure that all children's developmental needs are being met .She will ensure that all members of the team work effectively and professionally in accordance with the creche policies and procedures. Relationship building with parents/primary care and managing the day to day learning activities and engagement with children is an essential part of this role . Besides this, she must have the capacity and skill for reporting and documentation as part of running and supervising the day care facilty.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and handle the day to day running of the crèche for children 6 months – 14 years
2. Ensure a clean environment for the children
3. Engage closely with parents and management to maintain order and
4. Create and lead an action-packed timetable of activities and play ideas for the children within specified age group , to allow for the creative, physical, imaginative, social, sensory, emotional, intellectual and linguistic development of the child
5. Educate children on the importance of health, hygiene, manners, emotions, good habits
6. Monitoring and manage day care staff
7. Maintain attendance records and other registers
8. Identify potential hazards for children and taking safety measures
9. Supervise and manage meals and snacks for children
10. Manage the upkeep and setting of the centre in a way that is both welcoming and stimulating to the children and their parents
11. Supervise the work of other team members and keep track of issues emerging, constantly working towards maintaining harmony among the team and with parents
12. Share the weekly and monthly report with status and action taken
13. Maintain the first aid box
14. Keep a watch on the behavioral and physical changes in children
15. Maintain the hygiene in the crèche
16. Ensure smooth administration of the crèche
Qualifications:
Minimum graduate or equivalent preferred NTT or Bed
Preference for experience in a childcare setting
Storytelling talent (both English and Hindi)
Enthusiasm and positive attitude towards children and their activities
Caring and passionate about working with children
Excellent guest relations and customer service skills
A good communicator who is adaptable, resourceful, patient and diplomatic
Team player
Good interpersonal skills
Remuneration – Rs 15000 to Rs. 16000
Reporting timing – 9 am to 5.30 pm
