The Dresser Medical Trainer shall be responsible for conducting theory and practical training sessions for candidates enrolled under the Dresser Medical/Healthcare Assistant course as per Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) norms, curriculum guidelines, and assessment standards. The trainer will ensure effective skill delivery, practical exposure, trainee engagement, and maintenance of training quality standards.
Training Delivery
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions as per the approved syllabus and training schedule.
- Deliver training on:
- Basic patient care
- First aid procedures
- Bandaging and dressing techniques
- Infection control practices
- Vital signs monitoring
- Emergency response basics
- Hospital safety and hygiene
Practical Demonstration
- Demonstrate proper usage of medical tools, dressing materials, and healthcare equipment.
- Guide trainees during practical and simulation activities.
- Ensure hands-on learning and practical competency development.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain trainee attendance, practical records, assessment records, and daily training reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance of classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.
- Follow HSSC/Project guidelines and compliance requirements.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct internal assessments, mock tests, viva sessions, and practical evaluations.
- Prepare trainees for final assessment and certification processes.
Trainee Management
- Monitor trainee discipline, participation, and learning progress.
- Provide mentoring and counselling support to trainees whenever required.
- Encourage soft skills, communication, and professional behavior among trainees.
Safety & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and safety protocols during training.
- Maintain quality standards in training delivery and practical sessions.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Medical Sciences, or relevant healthcare discipline.
- Certified Trainer qualification preferred as per HSSC/Skill Development norms.
Experience Required
- Experience in healthcare training, hospital assistance, patient care, or related healthcare services.
- Prior experience in skill development projects/training programs will be preferred.
