Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Horse Riding Coach & Horse Trainer to join our equestrian facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training horses, coaching riders of various age groups and skill levels, and ensuring the overall welfare, discipline, and performance of the horses. This role requires strong horsemanship, patience, and a commitment to safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Horse Training
- Train horses in basic to advanced riding skills as per their age, temperament, and discipline
- Improve horse behavior, obedience, fitness, and performance
- Identify and address behavioral or health-related issues in coordination with veterinarians
- Maintain training schedules and monitor progress of each horse
Riding Coaching
- Conduct horse riding lessons for beginners to advanced riders
- Teach proper riding techniques, posture, balance, and control
- Prepare riders for competitions, assessments, or recreational riding
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all riding sessions
Stable & Horse Care
- Ensure proper grooming, feeding, and exercise routines
- Oversee tack usage, maintenance, and stable cleanliness
- Monitor horse health, fitness, and well-being on a daily basis
Administration & Coordination
- Maintain basic training and progress records
- Coordinate with management, parents, or students (if applicable)
- Assist in equestrian events, camps, or demonstrations
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Horse Riding Coach and/or Horse Trainer
- Strong knowledge of horse behavior, training methods, and riding techniques
- Ability to train both horses and riders safely and effectively
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors
- Patience, discipline, and excellent communication skills
- Relevant certifications in equestrian sports or horse training (preferred but not mandatory)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with children and beginners
- Experience in show jumping, dressage, endurance, or recreational riding
- Ability to handle young or untrained horses
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
