Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor laser welding machines for lithium battery cell, module, or pack assembly.
- Set up machine parameters according to production requirements and engineering specifications.
- Perform welding of battery tabs, busbars, terminals, and other battery components with high precision.
- Inspect weld quality using visual inspection and measuring instruments.
- Identify and troubleshoot welding defects such as weak welds, burn-through, misalignment, or poor penetration.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration checks.
- Record production data, machine parameters, and quality inspection results.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve process-related issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce defects.
- Maintain 5S standards and a clean work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience operating laser welding machines in lithium battery, EV battery, electronics, or precision manufacturing.
- Knowledge of laser welding processes, welding parameters, and quality inspection techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Familiarity with battery manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of production documentation and quality control procedures.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
