Job Summary
The Swim Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests using the swimming pool by enforcing safety regulations, monitoring pool activities, and responding promptly to emergencies. The role also provides operational support to the Maintenance Department by assisting with routine inspections, reporting defects, and helping maintain hotel facilities in a safe and functional condition.
Key ResponsibilitiesSwimming Pool Operations
- Monitor all swimming pool activities to ensure guest safety.
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when required.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the pool and surrounding areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pool area.
- Check and maintain lifesaving equipment to ensure it is always operational.
- Record daily pool activities, incidents, and maintenance observations.
Maintenance Department Support
- Assist the Maintenance Department with routine inspections of hotel facilities.
- Report maintenance issues such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, and equipment faults.
- Support preventive maintenance activities as assigned by the maintenance team.
- Help ensure the swimming pool plant room and surrounding facilities remain clean and organized.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department during repair works to ensure guest safety.
- Assist in setting up equipment and preparing facilities for hotel events when required.
- Perform basic maintenance support tasks within the scope of the role.
- Support other operational departments during emergencies or operational requirements.
Requirements
- Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid.
- Basic knowledge of swimming pool operations and safety procedures.
- Basic understanding of maintenance and facility upkeep is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,500.00 per month
