Job Title: Audit cum Accounts Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Audit cum Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in audit, accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
The role requires strong practical knowledge of accounting principles, audit procedures, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting software such as Tally. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audit assignments, ensuring statutory compliance, and preparing financial reports and management information.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal, statutory, and tax audit assignments in accordance with audit plans and applicable regulations.
- Verify accounting records, invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare audit working papers, schedules, checklists, and audit reports.
- Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, accounting errors, and compliance issues and report them to management.
- Maintain books of accounts and accurately record financial transactions using Tally and other accounting software.
- Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
- Perform regular bank, customer, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare and manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports, financial analysis, schedules, and management reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, clients, and internal teams regarding accounting and audit-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support the finance and audit team in other accounting and reporting activities as required.
Qualification
- CA Foundation – Passed
- CA Intermediate – Any One Group Completed/Passed
- 3 Years of Articleship Training completed under a Chartered Accountant
- B.Com/M.Com preferred
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Audit and Accounts.
- Candidates with practical experience in accounting, audit assignments, taxation, and statutory compliance will be preferred.
- Articleship experience with additional post-articleship experience will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Good hands-on experience in Tally and other accounting/financial software.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
