Job Title: Head of Purchase

Reporting To: Managing Director / Owner
Core Goal: Secure high-quality raw materials and goods at the best total cost while managing vendor relationships and mitigating supply chain risks.
Job Summary:
A Purchase Head (or Procurement Manager) in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry leads the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain strategy for ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies. Along with handling the project of new Outlet opening.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute category purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts with local and global food suppliers and traders.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all food items, perishable goods, and packaging meet food safety regulations and quality standards.
- New Outlet Opening: Managing the work of new outlet opening.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor food cost variances, implement cost-saving initiatives, and analyse market trends.
- Inventory Control: Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to prevent shortages or excess inventory and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and guide the purchasing and buying team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or Hotel Management.
- Experience: 8 to 15+ years of proven procurement experience, with significant leadership time in the F&B, hospitality, or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and market analysis tools.
- Core Competencies: Strong negotiation abilities, deep understanding of perishable food storage, and extensive knowledge of market fluctuations.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
