About the Role

We are looking for an Accounts Manager who can bring structure, discipline, and ownership to our finance and accounts function. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable handling daily banking operations, project invoicing, compliance requirements, collections follow-up, and management reporting.
This position will work closely with the founders and support decision-making through accurate financial data and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Banking & Finance:
* Manage day-to-day banking operations and documentation.
* Coordinate preparation and submission of bank-related reports.
* Handle bank guarantee documentation and follow-ups.
* Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Loans & Working Capital:
* Monitor loan accounts, repayments, and EMI schedules.
* Coordinate documentation for new loan applications and renewals.
* Support working capital and credit facility management.
Invoicing & Collections:
* Prepare invoices and supporting documents as per work orders and contract requirements.
* Track customer payments and outstanding receivables.
* Follow up with clients for timely collections.
* Maintain collection trackers and ageing reports.
Payroll & Expense Management:
* Compile employee attendance and expense claims.
* Manage advances and expense adjustments.
* Prepare salary sheets and coordinate salary disbursement.
* Coordinate statutory employee-related filings.
Compliance & Audit Support:
* Coordinate GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF/ESI and other statutory compliances.
* Support auditors during statutory audits and tax audits.
* Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
MIS & Management Reporting:
* Prepare regular reports on:
* Sales vs. Revenue Achievement
* Project-wise Profitability
* Cash Flow Position
* Debtors & Creditors
* Company Performance Dashboards
* Stock Statements
* Maintain accurate vouchers, ledgers, and cashbook records.
What We Are Looking For:
* Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals.
* Good command over Excel and financial reporting.
* Experience in invoicing, collections, banking, and compliance.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
* Ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualification:
* B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (preferred)
* Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar accounting software.
