Roles & Responsibilities:
Patient Communication
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to/from patients.
- Provide information about healthcare services, specialties and locations.
- Confirm or reschedule appointments.
Data Entry & Record Maintenance
- Update patient details in systems accurately.
- Maintain call logs, appointment status and follow-up notes.
Insurance Coordination
- Clarify patient queries regarding insurance coverage, eligibility, or claim status.
- Coordinate with insurance providers if required.
Follow-up & Feedback
- Follow up with patients’ post-consultation for feedback or ongoing care.
- Remind patients of upcoming checkups, medication adherence, or test results.
Lead Generation & Conversion
- Call potential patients to introduce services.
- Convert inquiries into appointments.
Customer Service & Query Resolution
- Address patient complaints and escalate to the right department.
- Guide patients on procedures, preparations and documentation needed.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems
- Patience, empathy and professionalism
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
