Business Development Associate (BDA)
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, confident, and target-driven Business Development Associate who can convert enquiries into admissions, build relationships with parents and students, generate new leads, and help expand the business through schools, residential complexes, corporate tie-ups, and local partnerships.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, solving problems, and achieving sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Admissions
- Handle phone, WhatsApp, website, and walk-in enquiries.
- Convert enquiries into paid admissions.
- Conduct follow-up calls until closure.
- Counsel parents and students about suitable courses.
- Maintain high conversion rates.
Business Development
- Generate new leads through schools, apartments, clubs, and corporate tie-ups.
- Build relationships with Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), builders, and community managers.
- Develop partnerships for workshops, events, and trial classes.
- Identify new business opportunities across Kolkata.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Track every lead from enquiry to admission.
- Coordinate trial classes and follow up on attendance.
- Ensure excellent customer experience.
Marketing Support
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team.
- Execute local promotional activities.
- Organize events, open houses, workshops, and demonstrations.
- Collect customer feedback and testimonials.
Reporting
- Daily lead report.
- Daily follow-up report.
- Weekly sales report.
- Monthly target achievement report.
- Market intelligence and competitor updates.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls.
- Good presentation skills.
- Positive attitude and confidence.
- Target-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM software.
- Ability to work on weekends (weekly off on a weekday).
Preferred Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA or Marketing background is an advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Admissions, Education, Fitness, Healthcare, Hospitality, or Retail.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
