eWay Corp is a leading provider of website design, e-commerce development, content management, and cloud infrastructure solutions to commercial and public sector customers in the United States. We are also an AWS Select Consulting Partner.

We are hiring a Senior SEO Associate to drive organic search growth through strategic SEO practices. This role involves optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and implementing best SEO practices. The Senior SEO Associate will collaborate with marketing, development, and content teams to improve search engine rankings and drive quality organic traffic.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Keyword Research

Create, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with overall business goals.
Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for content optimization.
Conduct competitor analysis and adjust SEO strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
Conduct regular SEO audits to identify technical and content issues and recommend improvements.

On-Page and Technical SEO

Optimize web pages, blogs, and product pages for search engines, including meta tags, headers, alt tags, and content structure.
Collaborate with development teams to improve technical SEO factors including site architecture, crawlability, and site speed.

Content and Link Building

Manage link-building strategies, partnerships, and outreach efforts to increase domain authority and organic search rankings.
Work with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into content development and align content calendars with keyword research.

AEO and GEO

Implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies to improve brand visibility in voice search, featured snippets, and AI-driven answer engines.
Apply Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) techniques to position content as a trusted source for AI-generated summaries and conversational search platforms.

Reporting and Collaboration

Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track performance, monitor rankings, and identify growth opportunities.
Monitor SEO performance against key performance indicators including organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlink growth, conversions, and technical SEO health.
Collaborate with marketing, development, and content teams to ensure SEO strategies are aligned and effectively executed.

Requirements

6 or more years of experience in Search Engine Optimization, including off-page SEO and content writing.
Strong knowledge of link building strategies and practices.
Strong communication skills and strong English reading and writing skills.
Hands-on experience with Google Keyword Planner.
Working knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush and Moz.
Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO.
Experience conducting SEO audits and implementing optimization recommendations.
Ability to analyze SEO performance data and identify opportunities for organic growth.

Nice to have

Experience with local SEO and eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce.
Certification in SEO or digital marketing from recognized platforms.
Knowledge of paid search campaigns and integration of paid and organic search strategies.
Experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Understanding of SEO performance metrics including organic traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority, backlink profiles, conversions, and technical SEO performance.
