We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Lab Manager to lead laboratory operations, ensure quality compliance, and manage testing processes in a manufacturing environment.
Qualification: B. SC/ M. SC / Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Experience: 2 - 10 Years
Industry: Copper Manufacturing
Job Summary
The Lab Manager will be responsible for overseeing all laboratory functions, ensuring accurate testing, compliance with quality standards, and effective team management to support production and quality objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day laboratory operations and team performance
- Establish, implement, and monitor testing standards, SOPs, and quality systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Review, validate, and approve test results and technical reports
- Oversee calibration, maintenance, and timely procurement of lab equipment
- Coordinate with production, QA, and management teams for quality-related issues
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methods, accuracy, and efficiency
- Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit readiness
- Maintain high standards of laboratory safety and compliance practices
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of lab testing procedures and quality standards
- Experience in audits, compliance, and documentation systems
- Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities
Pay: ₹8,360.19 - ₹29,516.22 per month
