Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Canteen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the hospital canteen. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, customer service, and efficient staff management while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day canteen operations and ensure smooth service.
- Manage and coordinate canteen staff, including scheduling and attendance.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the purchase of food and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, wastage, and daily sales.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Implement cost-control measures and minimize food wastage.
- Prepare reports and submit them to management as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience / Freshers in canteen, cafeteria, restaurant, or food service operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping skills.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
