Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Specialist / Assistant Manager for the R&D department who will lead research and development activities for Plastic Coatings (TPA & PU). The candidate will be responsible for product development, process improvement, technology transfer, customer trials, and coordination between R&D and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product development activities for Plastic Coatings (TPA & PU).
- Coordinate with raw material suppliers and internal departments for new developments.
- Work on cost optimization and product improvement projects.
- Conduct customer trials and manage customer interactions.
- Act as the single point of contact for technology transfer to production.
- Establish lab formulations and scale them for production.
- Monitor and revalidate product recipes regularly.
- Maintain R&D documentation including PDS and MSDS.
- Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
- Handle R&D safety processes and compliance.
- Lead, guide, and manage the R&D development team.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Plastic Coatings, especially PU and TPA coatings.
- Good understanding of plastic substrates.
- Expertise in metallic and mica pigments.
- Strong color matching and formulation skills.
- Knowledge of product development and process improvement.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and customer handling skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Science / B.Tech / B.E required.
- M.Tech preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of R&D experience in Plastic Coatings.
- Experience in PU and TPA coatings preferred.
- Candidates with Plastic Coatings R&D background will be preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
