- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by the Nuclear Medicine Physician.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Gamma Camera, SPECT, SPECT-CT, and PET-CT systems.
- Position patients accurately and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures for any adverse reactions.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and the public.
- Perform daily quality control (QC) and calibration of nuclear medicine equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records, scan documentation, and imaging data in RIS/PACS.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of radioactive materials according to regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Radiologists, Medical Physicists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist in radionuclide therapy procedures and post-therapy patient care when required.
- Monitor inventory levels of radiopharmaceuticals, consumables, and emergency supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control practices within the Nuclear Medicine department.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement programs, audits, and accreditation activities.
- Respond appropriately to radiation emergencies or equipment malfunctions.
- Stay updated with advances in nuclear medicine technology and participate in continuing education programs.
