- responsible for delivering comprehensive science education to secondary school students,
- designing engaging lesson plans, conducting laboratory experiments,
- assessing student progress, and fostering a love for science within the classroom, while ensuring a safe and positive learning environment;
- requiring a strong understanding of scientific concepts and excellent communication skills to effectively teach students across various learning styles.
- Planning and instructing lessons on science topics, such as biology, chemistry or physics
- Enforcing classroom management and school administrative policies
- Assessing and accommodating students’ learning needs and styles
- Using technology to deliver lessons and other educational materials
- Communicating effectively with students, parents and staff
- Preparing students for standardized science and post-secondary entrance tests
- Grading students’ assignments, tests and exams
