- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in design software will be an added advantage.
Job Summary
Sudev Wood Tech is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and skilled Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing residential and commercial interior projects while ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and client satisfaction. The candidate should possess excellent design skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and execution teams.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and project objectives.
- Develop innovative interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and space planning solutions.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, and furniture layouts using AutoCAD.
- Create realistic 3D models and presentations using SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other visualization software.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, laminates, veneers, lighting, furniture, and décor elements.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and project estimates.
- Coordinate with the production, site execution, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, inspections, and progress monitoring.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
- Resolve design-related issues during execution and provide practical solutions.
- Maintain proper project documentation, drawings, revisions, and client approvals.
- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and industry innovations.
Required Skills Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of SketchUp
- Knowledge of 3ds Max or similar rendering software
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of BOQ preparation and estimation
- Knowledge of modular furniture and interior materials
