Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a full-stack developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our full suite of web applications. You will be responsible for building everything from user-facing frontend components to robust backend APIs and database schemas using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the entire web development lifecycle, a strong command of JavaScript, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable full-stack applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using the complete MERN stack.
- Frontend Development: Create dynamic, intuitive user interfaces and single-page applications (SPAs) with React.js, ensuring optimal user experience and responsive design across all devices.
- Backend Development: Build scalable, efficient, and secure server-side applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Database Management: Design, implement, and manage MongoDB database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and performance.
- API Integration: Integrate front-end components with back-end logic, and connect with third-party APIs and services.
- Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance on both the client and server sides.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and reusable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to define user requirements, plan sprints, and deliver features on time.
- Testing: Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
- Deployment: Participate in the deployment and maintenance of applications in production environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- JavaScript Mastery: Expert understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features, asynchronous programming, promises, and JSON.
- MERN Stack Proficiency: Proven experience building full-stack applications with the MERN stack:
- MongoDB: Schema design, modeling (Mongoose), aggregation, aggregation pipelines.
- Express.js: Middleware, routing, error handling.
- React.js: Components, hooks, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), virtual DOM, JSX.
- Node.js: Event loop, asynchronous I/O, RESTful API development.
- Frontend Technologies: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles. Familiarity with preprocessors like SASS/LESS is a plus.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- API Design: Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Experience & Education:
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Portfolio: A portfolio of live projects or a GitHub profile demonstrating experience in full-stack MERN development.
Preferred/Bonus Skills

- Familiarity with GraphQL and its integration with the MERN stack.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, Cypress) and backend testing (e.g., Mocha, Chai).
- Familiarity with other databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Pay: ₹14,217.02 - ₹65,161.86 per month
