Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Lecturer to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to inspire students. The role requires the faculty member to engage students in literature, language, and communication skills, ensuring their overall linguistic and intellectual development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lectures in English Language and Literature.
- Develop and implement interactive and student-centric teaching strategies.
- Guide students in academic writing, literary analysis, and communication skills.
- Prepare students for exams, debates, literary events, and competitive assessments.
- Conduct remedial sessions for students needing additional support.
- Encourage a love for literature through storytelling, poetry recitation, and discussions.
- Evaluate students’ progress through regular assessments, assignments, and projects.
- Actively participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Organize English workshops, seminars, and literary fests.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to create a holistic learning environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree (M.A.) in English or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or Ph.D. (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in higher secondary or college-level English.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage students through modern teaching methodologies.
