The Office Assistant cum Librarian is responsible for providing administrative support to the institution while efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the library. The role involves maintaining records, assisting students and faculty, organizing library resources, handling office documentation, and ensuring smooth administrative and library functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesLibrary Management
- Maintain and organize books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and digital learning resources.
- Issue and receive library materials and maintain accurate circulation records.
- Assist students and faculty in locating and accessing library resources.
- Maintain library catalogues, accession registers, and inventory records.
- Ensure proper shelving, classification, and preservation of library materials.
- Monitor library discipline and maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Coordinate the procurement of books and learning resources as approved by management.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and prepare library reports.
Administrative Support
- Assist in maintaining office records, files, and correspondence.
- Prepare reports, letters, notices, and other official documents.
- Handle data entry, record management, and document filing.
- Assist in admission, examination, and student-related administrative activities.
- Support faculty and administrative departments with routine office tasks.
- Maintain registers and records required by regulatory authorities and management.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communication as directed by the administration.
Record Keeping and Documentation
- Maintain confidential records with accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure proper documentation of institutional activities.
- Assist in preparing reports for audits, inspections, and accreditation processes.
General Duties
- Provide assistance during academic events, examinations, workshops, seminars, and institutional programs.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Principal or Management from time to time.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of library and office areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Diploma or Certification in Library Science is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and basic computer applications.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in office administration, library management, or a similar role preferred.
- Fresh candidates with relevant qualifications may also apply.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
