Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M. Tech, or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Functional Consultant to support SAP implementation, enhancements, and ongoing business operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge along with technical coordination skills to bridge business requirements and SAP development.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Configure and support SAP modules based on business requirements.
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
- Support SAP implementation, enhancements, testing (SIT/UAT), and production issue resolution.
- Manage SAP master data, user administration, roles, and authorizations.
- Monitor SAP interfaces, reports, forms, workflows, and system integrations.
- Coordinate transport management, system upgrades, patches, and change management activities.
- Provide end-user training, user support, and post-go-live assistance.
- Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, test cases, and user manuals.
- Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and recommend process improvements.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on SAP Functional/Technical consulting experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and module configuration.
- Experience preparing Functional Specifications (FS) and working with ABAP developers.
- Hands-on experience in SAP implementation, support, and enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of SAP transports, authorization concepts, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience with SIT, UAT, defect tracking, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with one or more SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, FI/CO, or WM/EWM.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP integration technologies is preferred.
