Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to manage and supervise government construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in executing building construction and civil works and must possess a strong understanding of CPWD, PWD, and other Government Department standards, specifications, and quality norms. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring project execution as per approved drawings, contract specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities for government building and civil construction projects.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Implement construction activities in accordance with CPWD/PWD specifications, and applicable government standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and government officials for smooth project execution.
- Review engineering drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
- Ensure quality control by conducting regular inspections and maintaining construction standards.
- Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material consumption.
- Verify measurements and maintain Measurement Books (MBs), site registers, and daily progress reports.
- Coordinate with the Billing Engineer for quantity verification and preparation of RA Bills.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and environmental norms.
- Plan and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure work is executed according to contract requirements.
- Resolve technical issues at the site and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Attend project review meetings and submit weekly/monthly progress reports.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in building construction and government infrastructure projects.
- Mandatory experience in projects executed under CPWD, PWD, MES, Railways, NHAI, Smart City Mission, Municipal Corporations, or other Central/State Government departments.
- Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, hospital, educational, or government building projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
