Position: Centre Manager (Banjara Hills, Puppalaguda, Ameenpur, Kondapur)
Position Overview
The Centre Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, academic excellence, parent engagement, and business performance of the preschool centre. This role ensures the centre provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment aligned with the organisation’s curriculum, values, and brand standards. The Centre Manager leads the centre team, manages daily operations, drives admissions, and ensures high levels of satisfaction among children, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Centre Operations & Compliance
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring smooth functioning across classrooms and support areas.
- Ensure strict adherence to organisational policies, safety standards, hygiene protocols, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of classrooms, learning materials, cleanliness, and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation including attendance records, health and safety logs, incident reports, and staff schedules.
2. Academic Quality & Curriculum Implementation
- Ensure teachers implement the prescribed curriculum and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Monitor lesson plans, classroom activities, learning outcomes, and children's developmental progress.
- Organise training sessions and provide mentoring to teachers to maintain consistent academic standards.
- Guide teachers in applying child-centric teaching methods, activity-based learning, and developmental milestone tracking.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, onboard, supervise, and mentor teachers, assistants, and support staff.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Manage staff schedules and ensure appropriate teacher-child ratios are maintained at all times.
4. Parent Engagement & Communication
- Build strong relationships with parents through transparent and regular communication.
- Provide timely updates regarding children’s development and progress.
- Address parent concerns professionally and empathetically.
- Organise parent orientations, meetings, workshops, and centre events to encourage community engagement.
5. Admissions, Marketing & Business Development
- Drive student enrolments through centre tours, parent counselling, events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Track leads, conversions, and admission pipelines to achieve monthly enrolment targets.
- Support local marketing activities and brand-building initiatives.
- Monitor centre revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance.
6. Infrastructure, Safety & Resource Management
- Ensure classrooms, furniture, learning materials, and equipment are well maintained and adequately stocked.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the entire centre, including indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Implement safety procedures, emergency preparedness plans, and conduct regular drills.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and maintenance teams as required.
Timings: 9AM to 6PM
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in preschool or early childhood education.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in centre management, admissions, parent engagement, business development, and team leadership is desirable.
