Business Development Manager – Project Sales
Location: Calicut, Kerala
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager – Project Sales to drive project sales and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with architects, consultants, builders, developers, contractors, and key decision-makers, while managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
The candidate should possess strong networking skills, market knowledge, and the ability to convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in project sales.
- Generate leads through direct meetings with architects, interior designers, consultants, builders, developers, contractors, and OEMs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to secure new projects.
- Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial discussions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while contributing to overall business growth.
- Track and manage the project sales pipeline from enquiry to project completion.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Gather market intelligence and provide strategic inputs to management.
- Develop strategies to improve market penetration and increase brand visibility.
- Maintain and prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS.
- Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, quotations, and client requirements.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance and project status to management.
Required Skills

- Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into business.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–8 years of experience in Project Sales, Business Development, or B2B Sales.
- Experience in interiors, building materials, furniture, construction, architectural products, or related industries will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
