We are seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Consultant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries, implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to drive business transformation and operational excellence.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Consultant with 3+ years of hands-on implementation and consulting experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Dynamics 365 applications, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful client projects.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and/or Finance & Operations (F&O) modules
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 applications including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, and Finance modules
- Design and implement business process workflows, automation rules, and custom entities
- Perform data migration, integration setup, and system testing phases
- Develop technical specifications and solution architecture documentation
Client Consulting & Engagement
- Conduct detailed business requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Analyze current business processes and recommend optimized solutions using Dynamics 365
- Lead client workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support and optimization recommendations
- Manage client expectations and maintain strong professional relationships
Technical Expertise
- Customize forms, views, dashboards, and reports within Dynamics 365 environment
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using Power Platform, APIs, and middleware
- Configure security roles, business units, and access permissions
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical resolution
- Stay updated with latest Dynamics 365 features, updates, and best practices
Project Management
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Manage project risks and provide mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and business analysts
Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation and consulting
- Proven track record of at least 2-3 successful full-cycle Dynamics 365 implementations
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service) and/or Finance & Operations
- Proficiency in Power Platform suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience with data migration tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of integration patterns and API development
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture and data model
- Experience with customization using JavaScript, C#, and .NET framework
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure services, and cloud technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment methodologies
- Understanding of CRM/ERP business processes across various industries
Communication & Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills for client-facing meetings and workshops
