Job Summary
As a Test Lead specializing in Functional Testing, API/Webservices Testing and Selenium/Playwright you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of testers to ensure the quality of API/Webservices and applications developed. Your primary objective will be to create and execute testing strategies, automate test cases using Selenium / Playwright, and provide technical guidance to the team.Working experience in P&C Insurance domain
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and work on Functional testing, api/webservices testing efforts within the project team
2. Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Functional testing, api/webservices
3. Automate test cases using selenium / PLaywright and other relevant tools
4. Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of code and applications
5. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
6. Identify and troubleshoot issues in api/webservices functionality
7. Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates
8. Experience in P&C Insurance domain
Skill Requirements
1. Strong Experience in Functional testing
2. Strong experience in api/webservices testing methodologies and tools
3. Proficiency in automation testing using selenium/Playwright
5. In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (sdlc) and testing processes
6. Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
9. Familiarity with tools like postman, soapui, jmeter for api testing
10. Experience with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems
11. Experience in P&C Insurance products / application testing
12. Good knowledge in P&C Insurance domain
