Position Overview
École Globale International Girls' School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-centric PGT Chemistry teacher to deliver high-quality education aligned with the CBSE curriculum for Grades XI and XII. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire scientific curiosity through innovative teaching methodologies, practical laboratory work, and experiential learning.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to students of Grades XI & XII in accordance with the latest CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
- Prepare annual curriculum plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Deliver engaging, concept-based, and application-oriented classroom instruction.
- Integrate technology and modern pedagogical practices into teaching and learning.
- Prepare students for Board Examinations and various competitive examinations through structured guidance and mentoring.
- Encourage analytical thinking, scientific temperament, and problem-solving skills.
Laboratory Management
- Plan and conduct practical laboratory sessions in compliance with CBSE practical requirements.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and maintenance of laboratory chemicals, apparatus, and equipment.
- Maintain laboratory records, practical files, stock registers, and inventory.
- Promote laboratory safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design and evaluate tests, practical examinations, projects, assignments, and internal assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive academic feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports within prescribed timelines.
- Analyse student performance data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Student Development
- Mentor and guide students in academic planning and career aspirations.
- Provide remedial support and enrichment opportunities based on individual learning needs.
- Foster discipline, curiosity, confidence, and ethical scientific practices.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Attend departmental meetings, staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Assist in curriculum planning, examination duties, and school academic initiatives.
- Participate actively in school events, assemblies, competitions, educational excursions, and science exhibitions.
- Perform residential school duties, including pastoral care, supervision, and other responsibilities assigned by the school administration.
Qualification
- Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage (where applicable).
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience as a PGT Chemistry teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Experience in a residential/boarding school will be preferred.
- Demonstrated success in preparing students for CBSE Board Examinations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
