Job Summary
The person responsible for supervising electrical service and maintenance activities, leading a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring timely completion of service work, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering quality service to clients. The role involves planning, coordinating, inspecting, and monitoring electrical projects while ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation activities.
- Lead, train, and mentor electricians and electrical technicians.
- Plan work schedules and assign tasks based on project priorities.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed on time.
- Inspect completed work to verify quality and compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical faults and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, permit requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation.
- Monitor inventory of electrical materials, tools, and spare parts.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of testing equipment and tools.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and supervise corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or service operations.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics.
