Job Summary
We're looking for a responsible, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Junior – Procurement.
This is an entry-level role focused on documentation and administrative support for procurement activities — ideal for someone with strong computer skills, better communication skills & strong attention to detail in procurement and purchasing.
Will be responsible for maintaining procurement records and ensure procurement activity is properly documented for internal and audit purposes.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records of procurement and purchase-related documents and follow the instructions.
* Prepare, update, and organize purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and related paperwork
* Perform detailed data entries and update procurement records
* Handle systematic organization of documents
* Coordinate routine follow-ups with vendors as instructed
* Maintain proper documentation for internal records and audit purposes
Qualifications
* Good Command on the English Language. .
- Basic computer knowledge, including working familiarity with MS Excel
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organized approach to documentation
* Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the clients, vendors and internal teams
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Willingness to learn procurement processes, purchase orders, and must have basic knowledge in procurement software/tools
- Candidates should possess skills in Procurement and Purchase Orders, including order processing and basic inventory coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation to support vendor selection and commercial discussions.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review quotations, compare costs, and assist in decision-making.
- Basic understanding of marine or industrial supply chains is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with procurement or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, commerce, business, or a related field preferred; relevant internships or junior-level experience in procurement or purchasing are a plus.
* Exposure to or interest in the maritime or logistics industry is advantageous, though not mandatory
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree with a good command on English.
Equivalent experience will also be considered.
