Job Summary:
We are looking for a Parts Executive to manage the inventory, sales, and supply of spare parts for JCB machinery. This role requires a dynamic individual who has strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage parts and inventory efficiently. The Parts Executive will be the key point of contact for customers looking for high-quality spare parts and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, ensuring that stock levels are optimal.
- Conduct regular stock audits and manage the ordering process to keep stock levels consistent.
2. Parts Sales and Ordering:
- Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct spare parts for JCB equipment.
- Handle customer inquiries, recommend parts, and process orders promptly.
3. Technical Assistance:
- Provide technical advice to customers and service technicians regarding the selection and use of parts.
- Assist in troubleshooting and recommending appropriate parts for machinery repair and maintenance.
4. Customer Service:
- Handle customer inquiries related to parts and resolve issues or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure timely deliveries and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
5. Coordination with Vendors:
- Collaborate with suppliers and the central warehouse to ensure parts availability and timely procurement.
- Track and manage parts orders, including documenting invoices and delivery schedules.
6. Parts Identification and Cataloging:
- Identify parts based on machinery model numbers and specifications.
- Keep an updated catalog of parts and maintain a well-organized parts storage area.
7. Documentation:
- Process orders and maintain accurate documentation, including invoices, delivery receipts, and purchase orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Logistics
- Freshers are welcome to apply, and any prior experience in parts management, sales, or customer service in the automotive or heavy equipment sectors will be considered an added advantage.
