Job Summary
The Legal Manager will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to the company's real estate projects, land acquisitions, regulatory compliance, contracts, litigation, and corporate legal affairs. The role requires ensuring that all business operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations while minimizing legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Land & Property Due Diligence
- Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition and development projects.
- Verify title documents, ownership records, encumbrances, and land-related approvals.
- Coordinate with government authorities for legal clearances and approvals.
Contract Management
- Draft, review, negotiate, and vet agreements including:
- Sale Agreements
- Lease Agreements
- Vendor Contracts
- Service Agreements
- Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
- Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)
- Ensure legal compliance and safeguard company interests in all contracts.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Handle litigation matters involving land, property, consumer disputes, labor matters, and other legal issues.
- Coordinate with external advocates and legal consultants.
- Track court cases and provide timely updates to management.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with RERA, Companies Act, Contract Act, Stamp Duty regulations, and other applicable laws.
- Monitor legal risks and advise management on corrective actions.
- Maintain records of licenses, registrations, and statutory approvals.
Legal Advisory
- Provide legal opinions and guidance to management and various departments.
- Support project teams in resolving legal and regulatory issues.
- Assist in policy drafting and implementation.
Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain legal files, agreements, notices, and litigation records.
- Ensure proper documentation and safe custody of original property papers.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws and property documentation.
- Expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Understanding of RERA and land acquisition processes.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Qualifications
- LL.B. (Mandatory)
- LL.M. preferred.
- Membership with the Bar Council preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure companies.
- Proven experience handling land acquisition and property-related legal matters.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
