We are a growing residential interior manufacturing and production company focused on delivering high-quality interior solutions through strong design, manufacturing, and execution capabilities.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can take ownership of our complete operational workflow — from design coordination and production planning to quality control and site execution.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and improving the complete operations of our residential interior production business.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in residential interiors, modular furniture, production drawings, factory operations, quality control, and execution management.
This role requires someone who can effectively manage Design, Pre-Production, Production, QC, and Execution teams while ensuring projects are delivered on time with excellent quality.
This is a backend operations leadership role with no sales or business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Operations Management
- Manage complete project operations from design handover to final installation.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Design, Pre-Production, Production, QC, Logistics, and Site Execution teams.
- Create operational plans and monitor project timelines.
- Identify delays, operational challenges, and implement corrective actions.
- Establish efficient processes and SOPs for better project delivery.
2. Design & Production Drawing Management
- Review and validate production drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and suitable for manufacturing.
- Work closely with Design and Pre-Production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure proper design handover to production without errors.
- Reduce design-related production issues and rework.
3. Production & Factory Operations
- Manage daily production activities and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with production teams for manufacturing schedules and priorities.
- Monitor productivity, resource utilisation, and production efficiency.
- Resolve manufacturing challenges related to design, materials, and processes.
- Improve workflow, reduce wastage, and increase operational efficiency.
4. Quality Control Management
- Lead and manage the QC team for manufacturing and installation quality.
- Define quality standards and ensure compliance across projects.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and identify improvement areas.
- Reduce defects, rework, and execution errors.
- Implement preventive measures to improve first-time-right delivery.
5. Site Execution Management
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Execution teams.
- Ensure installation is completed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Support teams in resolving site-related technical challenges.
- Review site feedback and coordinate improvements with design and production teams.
- Ensure smooth project handover.
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor Production, QC, and Operations teams.
- Build strong coordination between Design, Factory, and Site teams.
- Conduct regular operational review meetings.
- Set team goals and improve overall productivity.
- Create a culture of ownership and accountability.

Candidates with experience from residential interior brands or modular furniture companies will be preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in residential interior manufacturing or modular furniture.
- Strong understanding of production drawings and technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of materials, hardware, furniture manufacturing, and interior execution.
- Experience managing production and QC teams.
- Strong understanding of site execution processes.
- Ability to coordinate between multiple departments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent team management and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, ERP systems, and project management tools.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in companies such as:
- Residential interior solution providers
- Modular kitchen and furniture manufacturers
- Interior fit-out companies
- Design and build companies
Candidates with strong design quality understanding and operational mindset will be highly preferred.

This is a full-time on-site role requiring regular coordination with factory operations, production teams, quality teams, and execution teams.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
