Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5- 7 years of experience in account maintenance, along with strong proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Tally. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, and follow-ups.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST return filing, reconciliation, and Input Tax Credit (ITC) verification.
- Manage TDS deductions, return filing, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Process and monitor project-related accounting transactions, billing, and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and clients for financial and compliance-related matters.
- Generate MIS reports and financial analysis for management review and decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, and payment schedules.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST, TDS, Bank Reconciliation, and Financial Reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reconciliation reports.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working in Real Estate, Construction, or Infrastructure Companies or IT Services.
- Experience in project accounting, contractor payments, customer collections, and real estate/construction accounting processes will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance is preferred.
