About the work from home Internship
We're looking for a driven and articulate Business Development Intern to join our growing team. You'll be on the front lines of our outbound sales effort: identifying potential clients, sparking conversations, and turning cold outreach into warm sales calls. If you love talking to people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want real, hands-on startup experience, this is for you.
What You'll Do
1. Own cold outbound across channels: LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and more
2. Research and build targeted prospect lists based on our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)
3. Write and test compelling outreach messages that get responses
4. Book and coordinate discovery/sales calls for the founding team
5. Maintain and update the CRM with accurate lead and outreach data
6. Collaborate on refining messaging, sequences, and outreach strategy
7. Share weekly updates on pipeline health, conversion rates, and learnings
You're a Great Fit If You...
1. Communicate exceptionally well in English, written and spoken
2. Are naturally personable and can build rapport with strangers quickly
3. Have a well-maintained, professional LinkedIn profile;this is non-negotiable, we'll check
4. Are currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program
5. Have a background in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Communications, though we welcome all backgrounds if the drive is there
6. Are comfortable with rejection and bounce back fast
7. Are organised, self-driven, and don't need hand-holding to hit goals
