- Position: Tooling Assistant Engineer
- Location: Maraimalai Nagar, Chennai (Inside Ford Campus)
Job Description:
We are looking for a Tooling Assistant Engineer with 25 years of experience in tool and die maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of tooling, ensuring timely tool availability for production, maintaining 5S standards, and coordinating with Production, Maintenance, and Process teams. Knowledge of tool maintenance, welding, and basic MS Office is preferred. Candidates with a Diploma/ITI in Tool & Die Making are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Perform tooling preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Support production by ensuring tooling readiness and minimizing downtime.
- Attend tooling-related breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain 5S standards in the tooling area.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure timely delivery and availability of tooling.
Requirements
- Diploma/ITI in Tool & Die Making.
- 25 years of experience in tooling maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Welding knowledge/certification is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
