Job Title: Control Panel Automation & Commissioning EngineerJob Summary
We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Automation & Commissioning Engineer to design, test, install, and commission industrial automation control panels. The ideal candidate should have experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, SCADA systems, electrical control circuits, and on-site commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to approved drawings.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and SCADA systems.
- Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and start-up of automation systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and automation faults.
- Conduct I/O checks, loop checking, and functional testing.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with design, production, project, and customer teams during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Provide customer training and post-commissioning technical support when required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, control panel manufacturing, or commissioning.
- Freshers with strong automation knowledge may also be considered.
Required Skills
- PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, Schneider, Omron, or similar).
- HMI and SCADA configuration.
- VFD parameterization and commissioning.
- Electrical control panel wiring and testing.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Ability to read electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Good communication, documentation, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning across project locations.
Preferred Skills
- AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN knowledge.
- Servo drive and motion control experience.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and electrical regulations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
