Job Summary
We are seeking a Powertrain CFD Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in 3D CFD and 1D CFD simulations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with STAR-CCM+ and GT-SUITE for analyzing and optimizing powertrain systems, thermal management, fluid flow, and engine performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 3D CFD simulations using STAR-CCM+ for powertrain and thermal management applications.
- Develop and validate 1D system models using GT-SUITE.
- Analyze airflow, cooling systems, combustion, lubrication, and heat transfer.
- Correlate simulation results with test data and optimize system performance.
- Work closely with design, testing, and product development teams.
- Prepare technical reports and present simulation findings.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Powertrain CFD.
- Strong hands-on experience with STAR-CCM+ and GT-SUITE.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and engine systems.
- Experience in 3D CFD and 1D system simulations.
- Ability to validate simulation models using experimental data.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in IC Engine, EV Thermal Management, Cooling Systems, or Transmission.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA/NX/Creo).
- Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, Java, or STAR-CCM+ macros) is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹273,366.20 - ₹964,026.08 per year
