As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role includes overseeing the development and documentation of security controls tailored for cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with business processes. The position also requires coordinating the transition of security measures into managed cloud security operations, facilitating collaboration across various teams to maintain robust security postures and support ongoing performance targets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud security strategies that support organizational goals.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance overall security expertise.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Security Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud service provider security models and best practices.
- Experience in designing secure cloud infrastructure and implementing security controls.
- Familiarity with identity and access management in cloud environments.
- Ability to assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies for cloud deployments.
- Understanding of compliance requirements and their application in cloud security frameworks.
