We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Audit Assistant to join our accounting firm. In this role, you will handle day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients and work closely with our audit team by assisting with audit and assurance engagements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping for multiple clients.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare month-end and year-end working papers.
- Maintain organized client files and accounting records.
- Work closely with the Audit team by preparing audit schedules, supporting documentation, lead sheets, and working papers.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the audit team.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
