Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Warehousing Architect (Solution Architect) to design and implement scalable, high-performance data warehouse solutions. The role involves defining architecture strategy, ensuring data integrity, and enabling enterprise analytics through robust data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise data warehouse architecture (on-prem/cloud)
- Define end-to-end data architecture including ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers
- Lead solution design for ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks
- Develop data models (conceptual, logical, physical) for scalable analytics systems
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Define best practices for data governance, data quality, and performance optimization
- Architect solutions on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP / Snowflake, etc.)
- Oversee data migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of data platforms
- Participate in solution reviews, architecture governance, and stakeholder discussions
Technical Skills – Mandatory
- Strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts and architecture
- Expertise in data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema, dimensional modeling)
- Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, ADF, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database design
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake / Redshift / BigQuery / Azure Synapse)
- Knowledge of data integration patterns and large-scale data processing
- Experience in solution architecture and enterprise data design
- Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Exposure to real-time / streaming data architectures (Kafka, etc.)
- Knowledge of BI/analytics tools (Power BI / Tableau)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering
- Certifications in Cloud / Data Architecture / Snowflake / Azure / AWS
