About the Position
PATH is seeking an experienced consultant to support technical writing, documentation, and proposal development for a tuberculosis-related opportunity in India. The consultant will work closely with the designated technical/project lead and relevant PATH teams to synthesize technical inputs, review background materials, consolidate programmatic evidence, and develop clear, coherent, and compelling technical proposal.
Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for the following:

Review relevant background documents, including technical guidance, program documents, strategy notes, concept notes, implementation materials, landscape analyses, and other resources related to TB programming in India.

Develop a strong understanding of the proposed opportunity, its objectives, implementation context, and alignment with national and subnational TB priorities.

Work with technical teams to consolidate program design inputs, implementation approaches, operational strategies, and evidence from ongoing or past TB-related work.

Lead the drafting of concept note articulating PATH’s technical approach, implementation strengths, partnership strategy, and value proposition in TB programming.

Participate in technical discussions, review calls, and consultations with internal teams and external stakeholders, as required.

Revise drafts based on feedback from technical reviewers, project teams, and leadership.

Perform any other documentation or proposal-support tasks assigned by the designated technical/project lead.
Education Qualification, Experience and Required Skills
- MBBS with a Master's degree or higher in Public Health or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in tuberculosis, public health, health systems strengthening, or related development-sector programmes.

Demonstrated expertise in technical writing, proposal development, strategic planning, policy and guideline development, and knowledge management.

Strong understanding of NTEP, TB prevention and care, drug-resistant TB, and public health programme implementation.

Experience working with government, donors, and implementing partners in India and/or international settings.

Excellent writing, editing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical information into high-quality deliverables.
