We have openings in store in-charge, minimum 2-4 years experience, based on your interview and previous salary will give the best.
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all medical and non-medical supplies (medicines, surgical items, consumables, equipment).
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Use inventory systems (manual or software-based) to track usage and availability.
2. Procurement & Purchasing
- Coordinate with purchase departments or vendors to order supplies.
- Ensure timely procurement of critical items like medicines, PPE, and surgical materials.
- Compare quotations and maintain cost-effectiveness.
3. Receiving & Inspection
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Check quality, quantity, batch numbers, and expiry dates (especially for medicines).
- Report discrepancies or damaged items.
4. Storage & Organization
- Store items properly according to guidelines (e.g., temperature control for medicines).
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the storage area.
5. Issue & Distribution
- Supply materials to different hospital departments (wards, OT, pharmacy, labs).
- Maintain issue records and ensure proper authorization before dispatch.
- Track usage patterns of departments.
6. Expiry & Waste Management
- Regularly check for expired or near-expiry items.
- Ensure proper disposal as per biomedical waste rules.
- Minimize wastage and financial loss.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain stock registers, invoices, and audit records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
8. Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, pharmacy staff, and administration.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams.
- Address urgent requirements during emergencies.
9. Compliance & Safety
- Follow hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive or controlled items.
- Maintain security of high-value or critical supplies.
10. System Handling (if applicable)
- Operate hospital inventory software or ERP systems.
- Update stock data in real time.
- Generate reports and analytics.
