Position Title: Site Engineer – CCTV & Video Surveillance

Role Overview
The Site Engineer – CCTV will be responsible for on-site execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning of IP-based CCTV and video surveillance systems across commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects. The role demands strong hands-on site execution capability, coordination with multiple agencies, and adherence to security, quality, and project timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Supervision
- Execute installation of CCTV systems as per approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Supervise camera mounting, conduit/tray installation, cabling (UTP/fiber), and termination works.
- Ensure correct installation of IP cameras (fixed, dome, bullet, PTZ), junction boxes, poles, and accessories.
- Coordinate daily activities of technicians and subcontractors at site.
Coordination & Interface
- Coordinate with client, consultant, PMC, and other MEP/ELV contractors for seamless execution.
- Interface with OEMs and system integrators for technical clarifications and commissioning support.
- Align CCTV works with civil, electrical, false ceiling, and finishing activities to avoid rework.
System Configuration & Commissioning
- Support IP addressing, camera configuration, and basic network setup.
- Assist in NVR/VMS configuration, camera mapping, and storage allocation.
- Carry out camera focusing, angle adjustment, night-mode checks, and image quality validation.
- Support integration with other systems such as ACS, BMS, or SOC platforms where applicable.
- Assist during client demonstrations, UAT, and handover.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure installations meet project specifications, cybersecurity practices, and industry standards.
- Maintain proper labeling, earthing, grounding, and cable management.
- Enforce site safety practices and comply with EHS norms.
- Ensure timely identification and closure of snags and punch-list items.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily progress reports (DPRs) and site activity logs.
- Track material receipt, usage, and reconciliation at site.
- Support preparation of test reports, commissioning records, and inspection checklists.
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings, IP schemes, camera schedules, and O&M manuals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / IT or equivalent.
- 3–6 years of hands-on site experience in execution of CCTV / Video Surveillance systems.
- Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, industrial or infrastructure projects preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of IP CCTV architecture, cameras, NVRs, VMS, and basic networking
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, camera layouts, and technical specifications
- Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning activities
- Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic AutoCAD
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on system reliability and security

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
