We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining pharmacy records, ensuring compliance with medical and legal regulations, and supporting patient care with proper medicine management.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medicines accurately as per doctor’s prescription
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain proper stock of medicines and pharmacy supplies
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure safe storage of medicines
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments regarding medication requirements
- Maintain purchase, issue, and inventory records of pharmacy items
- Ensure compliance with hospital/pharmacy policies and statutory requirements
- Guide patients and staff on medication usage, dosage, and precautions
- Handle controlled drugs and emergency medications as per protocol
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area
- Prepare and submit pharmacy-related reports when required
- Support in NABH/quality compliance documentation if applicable
Requirements
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / D.Pharm qualification
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy preferred
- Good knowledge of medicines, dosage, storage, and dispensing procedures
- Basic computer knowledge for billing/inventory management
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in shifts if required
