Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the dealership.
- Achieve sales, service, spare parts, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Lead, guide, and monitor all department heads and employees.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Accounts, and Administration departments.
- Monitor daily performance, targets, expenses, stock, and operational activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and overall business performance.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Monitor showroom and workshop performance and ensure proper process compliance.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and submit performance updates to Management.
- Ensure proper inventory control and prevent stock discrepancies and financial losses.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and develop employees to improve team performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, TVS standards, statutory requirements, and internal procedures.
- Monitor employee discipline, attendance, productivity, and overall performance.
- Maintain good relationships with customers, manufacturers, financiers, insurance companies, and other business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and support the growth and expansion of the dealership.
- Take corrective action wherever required to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
- Report directly to the Managing Director / Corporate General Manager.
- Team Spirit, Employee Bonding & Leadership:
- Build strong professional relationships and maintain good bonding with all employees.
- Create a positive working environment that promotes team spirit, cooperation, mutual respect, and unity.
- Motivate employees to work together as one team and support each other in achieving organizational goals.
- Maintain open communication with employees and understand their concerns, challenges, and suggestions.
- Correct, guide, and counsel employees whenever required to improve their performance and behavior.
- Take firm and appropriate disciplinary action, including reprimanding employees when necessary, for negligence, repeated mistakes, misconduct, or failure to follow company policies and instructions.
- Ensure that employees understand their mistakes and take necessary corrective action to avoid repeating them.
- Identify areas where changes and improvements are required and ensure that employees understand and adapt to organizational changes.
- Maintain a balance between employee support and management discipline.
- Build a responsible, accountable, and performance-oriented team that works for the growth and success of the organization.
- Branch Visits, Audits & Operational Monitoring
- Conduct monthly visits to all company-owned branches and authorized service dealerships (ASD) without fail.
- Conduct regular monthly operational reviews and audits to monitor the overall performance of each branch.
- Carry out monthly audits in coordination with the Spare Parts Manager and Service Manager.
- Review Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Customer Satisfaction, Stock, Cash, Attendance, and overall branch performance during each visit.
- Identify operational issues, performance gaps, process deviations, and areas requiring improvement.
- Prepare and submit a monthly branch visit and audit report to the Management.
- Ensure that all audit findings and identified issues are properly communicated to the concerned Branch Heads and Department Managers.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
- Follow up on previous audit observations during subsequent branch visits.
- Ensure that all branches maintain proper standards, discipline, operational efficiency, and customer service quality.
- Coordinate with the Spare Parts Manager and Service Manager to ensure proper control of inventory, service operations, workshop performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Weekly & Monthly Performance Reviews:
- Conduct a weekly review meeting with all Branch Heads to review branch-wise performance, targets, sales, service, spare parts, customer complaints, pending issues, staff performance, and other operational matters.
- Review the progress of each branch against the assigned targets and take necessary corrective actions wherever required.
- Conduct monthly individual performance review meetings with each member of the Sales Team.
- Review individual sales performance, target achievement, customer follow-up, conversion ratio, pending enquiries, productivity, and overall performance.
- Provide proper guidance, counselling, and support to employees to improve their performance.
- Clearly communicate performance expectations and the required improvements to each employee.
- Recognize good performance and take appropriate corrective or disciplinary action in cases of continuous underperformance, negligence, or failure to follow company instructions.
- Maintain proper records of weekly branch reviews and monthly individual sales performance reviews and submit necessary reports to the Management.Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the automobile dealership industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
- Experience in managing Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and overall dealership operations will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kottayam, Kerala (Kottayam): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
