Purchase Executive

Job Summary

Responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, goods, and services as per business requirements.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, negotiations, and order placement.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support uninterrupted operations.

Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance regularly.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to avoid stock shortages.

Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and procurement-related documentation.

Coordinate with internal departments such as Stores, Production, and Finance for procurement planning.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Track orders and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.

Job Profile

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms for cost-effective procurement.

Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per organizational requirements.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement to avoid stock shortages.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

Collaborate with stores, production, finance, and other departments to understand procurement needs.

Follow up on pending orders and resolve supply-related issues.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and cost analysis reports.

Skills

1 Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

2 Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.

3 Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

4 Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or procurement software.

5 Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

Any Graduation or Post Graduation or Material Management Degree.
