Powder Coating Operator – Job Description The Powder Coating Operator is responsible for preparing, coating, curing, and inspecting metal components to achieve high-quality surface finishes. The role includes operating powder coating equipment, ensuring proper coating thickness, maintaining production efficiency, and adhering to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare metal parts for powder coating through cleaning, masking, and inspection. - Operate powder coating spray guns and related equipment. - Apply powder coating as per customer and quality requirements. - Monitor curing oven temperature and coating process parameters. - Inspect coated parts for finish quality, thickness, adhesion, and defects. - Perform touch-ups and corrective actions when required. - Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of powder coating equipment. - Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets. - Record production data and quality inspection results. - Comply with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in powder coating operations and surface finishing. - Knowledge of powder coating materials, curing processes, and coating defects. - Ability to use coating thickness gauges and inspection tools. - Understanding of quality standards and workplace safety practices. - Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
